Wilcox Park Trail System
I want to commend those who care for the hiking trail system at Wilcox Park in Dutchess County. This park has one of the most scenic and well-kept trail systems in the area. Trails are well marked, cleaned of downed trees and well designed. Each week, I hike the entire red and orange trails (four miles or more) and continue to find much to delight. In addition, it's a fine way to keep in shape. I would just offer one recommendations: please display the trail system at the front gate (near route 199). The map is displayed in two other areas in the park (of which I am aware), but to further introduce the system to more hikers, the map at gate entry would be helpful. Please send my thanks to those responsible for keeping this gem of a park in such fine condition. Wayne Yaddow [email protected] Rhinebeck, NY
