Situated in the rolling hills of Hunterdon County, Voorhees State Park was the home of Foster M. Voorhees, a former governor of New Jersey.  He donated his farm to become a state park in 1929, and during the 1930s the Civilian Conservation Corps [CCC] developed the Park's picnic sites, parking areas, roads, and trails.  It has year-round camping facilities and an observatory for night sky...
