Created by the American Hiking Society, National Trails Day is observed every June across the country. The day recognizes the power trails have in helping people enjoy the benefits of being outdoors.

Since 1920, the Trail Conference has been known as the “doers” in connecting people with nature. As we prepare to celebrate National Trails Day and welcome the arrival of summer, we anticipate more people than ever will be exploring the trails under our care. More feet and wheels equal more impact—which is why our vigilance in studying usage, assessing its effects, and implementing sustainable solutions is crucial. Give a National Trails Day gift June 1-9 to the "doers" who make your great trail experiences possible, and your gift will be doubled!

Join your Trail Family for one (or all!) of the following events as we celebrate the trails that offer us so much:

Wednesday, June 2
Trail Conference Town Hall (Webinar)

Trail Conference Headquarters may be temporarily closed, but our staff and volunteers are working hard to serve a public that needs our organization now more than ever.

Executive Director Joshua Howard invites you to join him for a 20-minute update on the Trail Conference. He’ll be reviewing how we have responded to this crisis and our plan to help families, park managers, and our trails recover and remain resilient.

Thursday, June 3
