Finding Less-Traveled Trails Workshop

Registration is closed for this event
The most popular trails and outdoor destinations in our region all have alternatives that are equally spectacular—and we’re sharing our favorite trails less traveled.

Join experienced hiking/trail running guide and author of Circuit Hikes in Harriman Don Weise to discover trails less traveled.

The workshop offers two activities - a pre-hike and talk. Attendees can join for one or both activities.

5:30 pm - Pre-talk hike:
Brisk 2.5-mile moderate hike, starting and ending at the Trail Conference Headquarters, will explore trail improvements made at Ramapo Valley County Reservation, including improved access to a scenic waterfall.

7:00 pm - Talk:
Join us in our historic Headquarters as Don shares secret spots in the region, away from the crowds, and perfect for your next hike or run now that spring is here.
